How to Keep from Getting Hemorrhoids

Folk with haemorrhoids have been pigeonholed by the comics or comedians to be laughing stocks. That's the reason why less people with haemorrhoids have a tendency to visit a doctor. Instead they would rather wait for the discomfort to go down and just fret about it another time, especially if the pain becomes protracted.

If you are truly anxious about getting haemorrhoids, living a healthy lifestyle will benefit you a lot. These are some causes of hemorrhoids.

Pregnancy:

Pregnancy can cause a woman to extend chances of having haemorrhoids. The reason is because the rectal veins will be put under pressure more because of the added weight in the uterus. For ladies who are experiencing haemorrhoids, pregnancy can exacerbate the ordeal.

Women who are pregnant who don't get haemorrhoids while pregnant may still get haemorrhoids during labor. This is thanks to the long and difficult delivery.

Another cause is the constipation that a lady experiences after childbirth. Because of the tenderness in the anus and perianal area, ladies will prolong bowel movements. Hemorrhoids during pregnancy is one thing many women experience.

Postponing Bowel Movements:

There are some people who are frightened to empty out when not at home as the toilet might be dirty. Another reason is that there is just no toilet close by. So people will just try to force the material back within for a couple more hours. Doing this often can do no harm. But if it becomes incessant it might lead to haemorrhoids.

When the substance remains in the fecal colon, it will become harder and drier. This makes it tougher to pass. You will then have to to strain more to get it out.

The anal muscles that signal a person now's the time to empty out might also become weaker. For example, just imagine that you suddenly empty out in your pants as you did not feel anything.

Diseases:

There are a number of diseases that cause hemorrhoids. Among the diseases is anal cancer. The reason is because anal cancer will make the individual have 'false' calls of nature. It will then cause the person to go the bathroom more frequently and strain longer.

Folks who misuse alcohol will make their livers larger. This could then create extra pressure on the rectal veins. Other sicknesses that may also cause haemorrhoids are quarrelsome bowel syndrome and intestinal cancer. These diseases cause constipation or meddle with ordinary elimination.

There are other causes of hemorrhoids as well as these three. While experiencing hemorrhoids while pregnant might be one of the things expectant moms have to deal with, a healthy lifestyle will help prevent hemorrhoids overall, even for expectant mothers.
