Losing Calories - Easy Ways to Lose Weight

If you wish to drop some weight, then you must be very sincere about it. The good news is that it is possible to lose weight, even if exercises are not your preferred means to do so. Our chosen path is gradual reduction in consumption of calories. Although calories are important for our body because they supply the required energy, but excess calories are not utilized; instead they get accumulated in the form of fats and result into unnecessary weight gain.

One of the easy methods to reduce calorie consumption is to switch to healthy diet. In spite of having meals with high carbohydrate content, it is advisable that you add more healthy ingredients like enough proteins, vitamins and minerals to your diet. If you are having an omelet with four slices of bread along with a glass of juice, you can reduce four slices to two and swap the juice with a raw fruit like an apple or a banana. Whole fruits are a healthy option since they have high contents of mineral, vitamin and fiber. Moreover, some fruits like banana are very filling. Juices are less healthy than fruits since they have high caloric value and negligible fiber content.

Another way to cut on calories is to replace huge meals that you probably take 2-3 times a day with smaller 5-6 meals and avoid intake of fast foods.

The smaller meals after every 2-3 hours keep your body satiated without any urge for snacking. As the body will be digesting the food, it will send a sense of filling to your brain thus dampening any inkling for junk food. You can splurge on food once a week but the remaining days must be directed towards healthy diet. Once a week you can splurge on your favorite food but for the rest of the six days, one must strictly adhere to a healthy diet plan. Opt for salads with no dressings, baked or grilled chicken, fish and vegetables with plenty of fruits, and water.

Water aids you in two ways. First of all, sip cold water every 10 minutes. The intake of cold water act as a signal to the body for using its heat stored in the form of calories to face the cold water. The second is to take a cold shower. One can also take normal shower and then rinse with cold water. Bear in mind that regular meals nearly 5-6 times in a day added with sufficient quantities of fruits, vegetables and water can facilitate weight loss without exercising.
